Can I wear a Under Armour long sleeve shirt under my Air Force PT gear short sleeve shirt?

To be more specific, can I wear a Under Armour long sleeve shirt (compression fit, black or navy-blue) under my Air Force PT gear short sleeve shirt. Obviously, my Under Armour shirt would be visible from the sleeves down. Is this allowed?

Also, would this be allowed during official PT sessions?

    Up to the local command.

ask your commander, it’s not a regulated rule for soldiers to not wear it but it is instead up to your commander.

YES. This is allowed. Those are the only two colors that are allowed under your PT shirt. YES it is allowed during PT sessions. It may only be allowed during the cold months of the year but you will have to see for yourself in the AFI which is posted below. In addition, you should check with the people in your flight so they can direct you to updated policy letters on PT gear.

    Your Welcome.

No. Non uniform clothing items may not be visible while you have your UNIFORM on. A PT outfit is considered a UNIFORM.

If it is cold or windy, the military also issues cold-weather PT gear.

The worst thing you can do, is wear something NOT standard while standing in a formation of people with all the same thing on. That can’t be considered uniform when there’s a guy with something different on.

PS…the AF is more lax with the rules in some respects, especially in the operational AF. So you can probably wear it without getting into any trouble, but that’s just a guess. Tech school, not so much. Basic, yeah right.

If you do happen to do it in the operational AF, someone WILL notice (usually an NCO or higher) and b*tch about it to you or your supervisor. So, my advice is to not wear it.
