Can I wear short sleeve shirt under my track uniform?

I am a male and I want to wear one. Is this against any rules? Will it slow me down?

Lots of people wear t shirts under their tops.
It must be a solid color without designs on it.
It would be best if it were the same color as the uniform or a completely different color, such as dark under white.
The rules allow this but if you are running on a relay team and more than one runner has on an undergarment then all of the team members must be the same.

depends if the judges or the coachs allow you and no it will not slow you down if anything wear a spandex shirt.

It depends. The state rules for where I run in Ohio says that it must be a solid color with no more than one logo showing. If you are on a relay team, every person either needs to be wearing the same color or not wear anything underneath, although you can have a combination where half the team wears the same color and half the team doesn’t.
