i bought a white button down shirt, and i bought a short sleeve one on accident. I would like to know if i should get a long sleeve one, or just show up with a short sleeve. Any advice?

I do know what an alley coordinator is, and an expediter and the salad crew in the back. What do the other people there wear? What did they tell you to wear? If they don’t care, the short sleeve will probably be cooler, but you may be able to protect your arms a little with the long sleeve. My son is a chef and he wears a T shirt under his jacket and ends up having to take off the jacket. It gets really hot in the kitchen. Be sure your shoes have very good support. If you’ll be handling knives, keep your toes in mind when you choose your shoes. This is not a good place to skimp. Get a container of Oxy Clean. It gets the fishy smell out of your clothes.

i didnt google any similar questions and im trying to figure out wtf an alley coordinator is. i think if you want to succeed at your job, especially if its a corporate job, fit your uniform within the guidelines of the company policy. otherwise you look like an ass who is trying to do things their own way, if you dont want to adhere to company policy, go start your own business where you can make the rules.

    good luck!
