what are your general thoughts on wearing a short sleeve dress shirt with a tie?

It really isn’t a great style, I mean you have to be very confident to pull something like that off. I mean didn’t green day do it and it didn’t look great.
Yes–Government workers wear this all the time–sometimes with the pencil cases in the pocket!
It’s kind of nerdy.
if the shirt is low cut and the tie is silky than it would be cut but if its conservative you may end up looking like a librarian. choose wisely! and have fun with it!
