short sleeve shirt with tie?
So most of my office co-workers started wearing short sleeve shirts w ties about a month ago now due to the warmer months.I gave in and started about 2 weeks ago. A friend of mine jokingly made fun recently.Is this a big no no or what? It certainly helps with the heat and i planned on wearing until the end of summer or at least until everyone in the office stops wearing them.

i think it is better for you to wear a short sleeve shirt without tie.

well its ok for some people but i would rather see people wearing long sleeves if they are going to wear a tie because the short sleeved shirt witha tie is a little dorky but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep cool i guess.

You really shouldn’t wear a tie with a short-sleeved shirt. Short sleeves are deemed "Casual" and when you add a tie it gets confused. But, you are not doing a fashion shoot and I guess you are required to wear a tie @ work and it’s been ungodly hot, so do what you need to do! Just don’t make it a clip-on;)

Wearing in such a way is really really cool. Some people does not think it as a proper dressing. But its a fashion and if you are tall and smart also, probably you friends making jokes because of jealousy.
If you have to wear a tie, then by all means wear the tie with the short sleeve shirt! As long as the shirt is clean and pressed, I am sure you will look fine. It’s hot outside! People CAN relate! I wouldn’t want someone forcing me to wear pantyhose in this heat, so no one should force you into wearing a long sleeve shirt!
