    Depends on the weather.

Right now, I prefer long sleeves because its starting to get cold and it also protects my arms from briers, mosquitoes, etc.. I usually have the sleeves pulled up to my elbows anyways haha.

The past year, I’ve really gotten into Realtree Hardwoods because the pattern matches the terrain that I’m in more so that Mossy Oak does. Both have nice camo, but I don’t really care what brand name is on the shirt I’m wearing as long as I don’t stick out like a sore thumb in the woods.

If your asking about getting a long sleeve/short sleeve for you boyfriend [noticed your previous question (: ], take into consideration when he hunts if he does to get a good idea of what pattern to get or what shirts he prefers. Or you could get him a long sleeve and short sleeve shirt- either way, I’m sure he’d like it.

I possibly think a short sleeve camouflage shirt. :]

  • Petri says:

Short, because I dont want to look like im in the army.

  • Master T says:

Long sleeve. Just look at what the military wears as part of the BDU (battle dress uniform). They roll-up the sleeves.

Also, for hunting purposes, if you are going to be going through the thick brush or deal with ticks or biting insects, you will want long sleeves.

depends what I’m hunting, what the terrain is and what the weather is.

I usually prefer to wear a long sleeve camouflaged shirt when I go hunting, I choose the "woodlands" pattern. I used one this year when I went hunting.

long, even when its 90 and im turkey hunting….long covers up your arms and helps from thorns and bugs too.

  • HondaRacer says:

Long sleeve. You can always roll the sleeves up. Go with Mossy Oak as for what pattern i can’t say because I don’t know where or what you hunt. for deer either break up or treestand for waterfowl mossy oak duck blind camo.

Depends on weather……..mostly a long sleeve for cold hunting but, short sleeve comes in handy when it warms up….or when field dressing a animal but, that gives away your position if you show bare arms when hunting. Realtree or mossy oak is fine…..it depends on where you are hunting and your backdrop.
