What's the difference in wearing pants with a short sleeve shirt and shorts with a long sleeve shirt?
people wear pants and a short sleeve shirt all the time but think it’s weird when you wear shorts with a long sleeve shirt. I don’t really see the problem.

It doesn’t really matter but you’re more likely to carry a jacket for when you get cold than a pair of sweat pants or an extra pair of jeans.
You’re right! There isn’t a problem. People these days care too much about irrelevant issues that don’t pertain to them.
Its cuz people are used to seeing your arms more than your legs. And when your legs are fully exposed and your arms are covered up it looks weird! Now on the other hand…short sleeve shirts look good with anything!
